The Bacon Cupcake prototype has arrived! Inspired from all things awesome in life, Tee & Cakes Chef Boos has crafted the Bacon Cupcake using our awesome smoked bacon baked in brown sugar. We used our classic yellow cake and fudge icing recipe and whipped the icing with tasty bacon. Look out for the next step in this great cupcake... HINT: it will involve maple syrup.
The Bacon Cupcake is available every SATURDAY FROM NOW ON!

THE WHISKEY BOTTLES WERE HERE!
Rock and Roll and Cupcakes like never before -- Local Americana/Country/Roots rockers, THE WHISKEY BOTTLES, played the first Patio Rock Series at Tee & Cakes this weekend. Being a newer band, these kids sure had us fooled--they sounded great and played some awesome cover songs from some great country rock legends. Look out for them at the Boulder Outdoor Cinema this summer!

Tee & Cakes is hosting a rock show this Saturday, May 31 at 1pm. Boulder-Based The Whiskey Bottles is a new Alt-Country/Americana/Roots/Country Rock band. Come support a local shop and a local band! And eat cupcakes.

Tee & Cakes is very excited to finally be able to announce the revealing of the celebrity wedding cake we did a few weeks back.

Tee & Cakes' love for rock and roll and Chef Kim Boos' ability to make the perfect cake for any occaision was amplified for the very special dessert for legendary singer and guitarist LOU REED's wedding to Laurie Anderson. What a treat!

DESIGN PROJECT BUILD
Tee & Cakes' screen printing operations, SIDE B APPAREL and HANDLEBAR PRESS have been invited to participate in this sweet event ARCHITECT CHALLENGE, April 5; Rembrant Yard; Boulder, Colorado.

It's not so much we are architects, but we are representing a little portion of the local design community in the DESIGN LOUNGE (oh, snap). We will have the new SIDE B spring line and some HANDLEBAR PRESS hand screened prints. And cupcakes, just cause we can.

POSTERS HAVE ARRIVED!
The rad folks over at Cypher 13 designed a series of 24 cupcakes a while back for our shop to help us during some neighborly construction. And the kids have been askin us (and trying to peel them off the walls) how to get their paws on them. Soooo.... Tee & Cakes' screenprinting operation -- Handlebar Press -- started printing a few.

The first one -- "Pucker" -- is available for sale at the store or via email (info@teeandcakes.com). It's an edition of 29 and we have sold a bunch so far, so come down on the quick to git one. More from this series of cupcake posters will be available very soon.
